Chicago

Chicago is the third most populous city in the United States, located on the southwest coast of Michigan Lake in the state of Illinois. Chicago is often called the «second city» or «city of winds»: the «second city» means the leadership in economic terms after New York, and the «city of winds» name was created due to fluctuations in the city power, not due to strong winds, as it may seem at first glance. This city does not have the lack of audacity and vanity, there is something fascinating about it. It is attractive for its powerful architecture and historical monuments, parks and gardens, interesting trips around Michigan Lake, numerous boutiques and chic restaurants. Also among the sites which worth of attention there is The Harold Washington Library - one of the largest libraries in the world; John Hancock Center with a stunning panorama of the city; and the University of Chicago, that according to unspoken statistics, has released the largest number of future Nobel Prize winners.
